1. Wie is verantwoordelijk?
Deze website wordt beheerd door Bo Deprez, handelend onder de naam The Whole Closet By Bo (incl. de merken Slim Leren, By Bo en De Vertelstronk).
Bo is verantwoordelijk voor de verwerking van jouw persoonsgegevens zoals beschreven in deze verklaring.
2. Welke gegevens verzamelen we?
Via het inschrijfformulier voor de gratis gids verzamelen we uitsluitend:
- Je e-mailadres
- Eventueel je voornaam (indien je die invult)
We verzamelen geen gevoelige persoonsgegevens (zoals adres, telefoonnummer of betalingsgegevens via dit formulier).
3. Waarom verwerken we jouw gegevens?
Je gegevens worden uitsluitend gebruikt voor:
- Het toesturen van de gratis gids waarvoor je je hebt ingeschreven
- Het versturen van occasionele studietips en nieuws over Slim Leren (nieuwsbrief)
De rechtsgrond voor deze verwerking is jouw uitdrukkelijke toestemming (art. 6.1.a AVG/GDPR). Je kunt die toestemming op elk moment intrekken.
4. Hoe lang bewaren we jouw gegevens?
We bewaren jouw e-mailadres zolang je ingeschreven blijft op de nieuwsbrief. Zodra je je uitschrijft (via de link onderaan elke e-mail), wordt jouw adres uit de lijst verwijderd.
5. Met wie delen we jouw gegevens?
Jouw gegevens worden verwerkt via Brevo (voorheen Sendinblue), een e-mailmarketingplatform. Brevo treedt op als verwerker en is GDPR-conform. Meer info: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
We verkopen, verhuren of delen jouw gegevens nooit met andere derden.
6. Jouw rechten
Als EU-inwoner heb je de volgende rechten:
- Recht op inzage — je kunt opvragen welke gegevens we over jou hebben
- Recht op correctie — onjuiste gegevens laten aanpassen
- Recht op verwijdering — je gegevens laten wissen ("recht om vergeten te worden")
- Recht op intrekking van toestemming — via de uitschrijflink in elke e-mail of via een e-mail aan ons
- Recht op klacht — bij de Belgische Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit: gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be

Bo is responsible for the processing of your personal data as described in this policy.
2. What data do we collect?
Through the sign-up form for the free guide, we collect only:
- Your email address
- Your first name (if you choose to provide it)
We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as postal address, phone number or payment details through this form).
3. Why do we process your data?
Your data is used solely for:
- Sending you the free guide you signed up for
- Sending you occasional study tips and news about Smart Learning (newsletter)
The legal basis for this processing is your explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time.
4. How long do we keep your data?
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to the newsletter. Once you unsubscribe (via the link at the bottom of every email), your address will be removed from the list.
5. Who do we share your data with?
Your data is processed through Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), an email marketing platform. Brevo acts as a data processor and is GDPR-compliant. More info: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
We never sell, rent or share your data with any other third parties.
6. Your rights
As an EU resident, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — you can request to see what data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — have inaccurate data corrected
- Right to erasure — have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten")
- Right to withdraw consent — via the unsubscribe link in every email or by emailing us
